Tomorrow marks the second anniversary of my lost bro's Paul's death. It's hard to think that it's been two years since that night when he was killed on the exit of Medical Drive, and IH10 in San Antonio.
Paul, I know that where ever you are that you are having fun, and I can't wait until I see you again, and we are causing others to have fun with us! But hopefully bro, it will be a long while for me, but just an instant for you until we are together again.
I love you man!

I came across this picture of the very first theatre that I ever ran. It was in Tiffin, Ohio - Tiffin Mall Movies. Was there from 1984-87. The company at the time was National Theatre Corp. and Tiffin was a four plex (Considering the largest theatre in the company was a six, I was doing good. 15 years later I was opening 30 screen mega-plexes, go figure.
The theatre is now closed, they built an eight screen stadium theatre at the other end of the mall, but from what I understand is still intact. Now with me as the marketing guru that I am they should have kept this open, turned theatre 4 into a kitchen, and made this a cinema draft house, perfect for the college crown at Heidelberg.
I still have a special place for lil theatre. Like Picard when he got command of the Enterprise, it was better, faster, newer, and beat the shit out of the Stargazer, but you still love your first command!
See EVERYTHING can be related to Star Trek!

Yup my Dad is a year older.... I am still just 25!!!!!!!!!
August 9, 2008 THERE IS A GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The following lifted from TV Guide on-line:
As reported earlier today, the folks behind American Idol are reviving Match Game. I may be in the minority here, but my restrained response to this news was something akin to "Woo-hoo!" I loved that show — both in its heyday and in reruns on the Game Show Network — if only because it's the strangest anthropological documentation of 1970s comedy, sexual mores and substance abuse that you're ever going to find on network television. It was pretty subversive for a game show (see examples on YouTube), with more cigarette smoking, daytime drinking and winking sexism/sexual innuendo than your average episode of Mad Men.
So we asked you who you'd put on the show's inaugural panel. Who are today's Richard Dawsons, Brett Sommerses, and Charles Nelson Reillys? And you responded in kind, with some very interesting suggestions. (Mario Cantone? Genius. Jimmy Fallon? Eh.) That said, here are my humble suggestions for the inaugural sextet. —
1) Pamela Anderson: If anyone knows her way around a double entendre, it's her.
2) Michael Ausiello: A lot of you have already suggested him, and I wholeheartedly concur. Though I've only known him for a few hours (I'm new around here), the steady stream of profanity coming from his office seems to indicate he'd be a natural for it.
3) Simon Cowell: Because he's kind of mean, kind of funny, and definitely a dirty bird.
4) Kathy Griffin: The author of Suck It, Jesus! would definitely do it... if only to trash her fellow panelists in her act later.
5) Allison Janney (The West Wing): If you've seen her on Ellen, you know she's a quick wit who's got the devil in her.
6) Romany Malco (The 40-Year-Old-Virgin, Weeds): The man has a way with filth.
Jeez, writing this post was difficult. (How difficult was it!?!) "It was so difficult that.... " Oh, never mind.
So, let's keep it going. Which stars would you like to see fill in Match Game's blanks? Did I aim too high? Are we more likely to get the likes of Romber and Alfonso Ribeiro? — Mickey O'Connor
My Comments: Kathy top row center (Brett's seat), Mario Cantone (Charlotte's gay bud from Sex and the City fame Top row Last - Charles Nelson Reily seat) And Simon Cowell bottom center (Richard Dawson's seat) that would be my pick for the dream team of regulars, then rotate the others as the old Match Game did.
Damn, New Match Game!!!!!! Look at the Match Game page here.
8.8.08 - Okay so it's a lucky number this way...

Last night they had that Chris Angel thing at Clearwater beach, what a crock of crap... Fake, Fake, and more fake... Well at least the hotel imploding was cool. FOX 13 caught him coming out of another building after the implosion to "be found" Click here for that footage.
Well I guess that is all for now, time for bed.

YIKES!!! Sunday night I went back to the ER and had another wonderful three day stay in the hospital. Unlike last time I didn't waste time, and I just went. My sugars were high but not as high as before. It only takes me a couple times before I learn my lesson huh?
So now I am home once again, feeling like crap, and my poor arms all stuck up... Oh wait, since I was on cumiden with the IV it weeped the entire time so my arm was bloody, can you say Fun?

Well today we had Mike's birthday party up at his brothers house. It was a great afternoon of cheese, wine, crackers, wine, steaks, wine, veggies, wine, strawberry cake (Homemade by Glenda, Mike's Mom, and milk! Ha! Betcha you thought I was going to say wine !
I have to admit that Mike's family has adopted me as one of their own. Nothing like having your best friend's family on your side.... and as I reminded Santigo (Mike's other half in case you didn't know) I knew them first! lol
Below are the pictures of today's party.
Craig, Mike's youngest brother showing us all that he is from the shallow end of the Snyder gene pool!
Glenda in the kitchen, she is the creator of that GREAT strawberry cake!!
We were so stuffed after all that food don't Kevin and I look lie we are ready for a nap?
Oops! Spoke too soon, Kevin is asleep!!!
And so is Santiago!!!! I really wanted to get a Sharpie out and draw a smile face on his head.... But I didn't as they have a key to my house, and how I sleep so soundly I could wake up one morning with NO hair!

WARNING - The following is a rant, and is rated R for language. Sorry Mom.
What the Hell????? I get a letter from Blue Cross today that they are not paying ANY of my hospital bill as the hospital admission was not approved. WHAT???? So I called these idiots. The first rep I spoke to was a idiot. She stated that my policy clearly states that any ER visit must be reported to them within 24 hours for payment and processing. Since I didn't they are not covering the visit.
HUH?
1) - I was so sick they hauled me out of my apartment in an ambulance.
2) - I was in ICU for a week, so doped up that I don't remember most of that time
3)- Once I got into a regular room, reviewing my policy wasn't on my top ten things to do....
So tell me how the heck I was supposed to call the idiots at Blue Cross within the first 24 hours? Now I am starting the fight process with the idiots, unless I just want to pay the $ 131,000 bill from the hospital (and that just is the hospital part).
Is this a crock of shit or what?????
July 6th 2008
It's Mike's Mom's Glenda birthday today. I am being kidnapped and heading up to NPR for the party. If I know Glenda I'll get drilled if I brought my insulin, cane, and she'll make me keep my leg up on a table. (okay I can do that) But there will be lots of food, and its food I don't have to cook or clean up so count me in!
The birthday girl Glenda, and her youngest Craig.
I look befuddled, and Santiago looks surprised. Or was I thinking, oh no not another picture! Let's kill Mike!
Funny, Craig always has to add his "two cents"
Pilar, and Kevin after we pigged out on way too much food!!
Happy July 4th!!!!
We're heading to Robb's for a BBQ today. I thought we took more pictures, but there are only three, so without further adieu....
I Guess that Santiago and I are listening to a very interesting story by the looks of us, or we are bored out of our minds, or "striking a pose" ala Madonna.
Miguel and his new boyfriend, "whatzhisname"
On a happy note, one of the most bigoted people ever to serve in the Senate, Jessie Helms died today..... I am sure that the idiots at godhatesfags.com have a big tribute to him up, but I will just say this...
I do feel sorry for his family, as they lost a loved one, but the man was way out of his time...

BRITISH COLUMBIA - Don Sinclair Davis, a B.C. actor best known for his recurring role on the TV show Stargate SG-1, died of a heart attack Sunday morning at his home in Gibsons. He was 65.
"He had a massive heart attack," said Gail Wilson, a friend who lives just down the street from Davis. "The ambulances came [and] I know they tried to resuscitate him in the driveway and couldn't."
Wilson said Davis had had heart problems for years and suffered from diabetes.
Davis, who had a PhD in theatre, was born and raised in Missouri and began acting in the early 1980s while teaching at the University of British Columbia. In 1987, he gave up teaching to act full time.
Davis served three years in the army in the 1960s and two of his best-known TV roles were playing military men: General George Hammond in Stargate SG-1 and Major Garland Briggs in Twin Peaks.
Happy Pride!
June 28th 2008
It's pride here in St. Petersburg, Here are some of the pictures form the pride parade. I did get out of the house for the parade. Yeah it was hot, and I was on my leg way too long, and It swelled up the worst its been since I have been out of the hospital. I paid the price for going out that long (and I didn't use the cane either, hell how am I to find a husband with a cane????)
The whole collection of pride pictures, taken by tons of folks can be seen at St. Pete Pride.com. There's are a few that Santiago, Mike and I took.
It was massive after the parade (see all the general parade pics that we took and more that others too at the St. Pete pride site)
They estimated 100,000 people attended the event

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television. Some People Are Stupid. Stuff. People I Can Do Without.
George Carlin, who died of heart failure Sunday at 71, leaves behind not only a series of memorable routines, but a legal legacy: His most celebrated monologue, a frantic, informed riff on those infamous seven words, led to a Supreme Court decision on broadcasting offensive language.
And in his honor, here are the original seven dirty words (some can now be said on TV)
The original seven words were, shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, and tits.

Hey everyone;
Still at home dealing with these frackin' blood clots, and bored, BUT... The news junkie in me has found a new site that is going to put me even on news overload livenewscameras.com . You gotta check it out, feeds from everywhere (except for the markets I have lived in Buffalo, San Antonio, and Toledo) go figure......
Check it out...
Also finally got out of the house long enough to see Sex in the City movie... Yeah.... You could tell all of us gay men from the "husbands" who were forced to see it with their wives! Well it was fun...
More later!
Hugs!
June 7, 2008-
Okay Did you notice the banner change? Hillary ran a great campaign, and while I would have preferred her to him, we CAN NOT let Jon McCain win in November. I am not just a one topic voter, but yes the gay rights issue does play in my decision. He still does not want us to have equal rights.
Now there are lots of you who I love dearly who disagree with me on this issue, and that's okay, that's what America is all about. Now I do expect him to include her in his administration, I am not sure if VP is the right thing, but she has tossed her support behind him, so as a support of hers so do I.
May 26, 2008

Happy Mother's day Mom!!!!! Okay that is the fun part. No the bad part, these drugs are still messing with me. Two day ago I started them, and yesterday thought that I was being lucky, no really bad side effects except for being the fog all day. Well let me tell you, today after a pot of coffee and thinking I was going to be having a great day they kicked in. I got sick... Boy did I ever!!! Lets just leave to say that no one can accuse me of being full of shit today!
Enough said???
So today I am rating the day so far as lousy, and its only 1126 am!
MAY 10, 2007
Just a quick update. Went to the doctor again yesterday, my blood still hasn't thinned to where they want it. So I started a combination of four new drugs last night to go along with everything else. Oh my frackin' God. The side effects they warned me about, and they were not kidding. I woke up this morning about 8:30 am and was in a total fog until about 2:00pm. It was scary. I downed two full pots of coffee and still no luck.
Now that the haze has lifted my body wants a nap, so I will be taking one soon. But just so this dance is interesting, these new drugs are once again playing havoc with my sugars which are high again, so it looks like I'll be shoot up six times a day now, not just four.
Aggggghhhhh... But considering that I could be dead now, I guess I will count my blessings. Oh, if you want to call me please do it after 7:00pm or on the weekends. I got my cell bill for last month, yeah lets just say I went WAYYYYYY over my minutes. It's okay cause I needed the moral support, but I can't afford that as I am not working (duh) and I haven't found my money tree, a new job (and yes I am floating resumes everywhere gotta love the Internet) or sugar Daddy yet.
Okay heading off for a nap. Hugs to all!
May 4th 2008
Hello all.... Where to start? How about I almost died last month! Now that I have your attention, here's the story ( as the theme to the Brady Bunch starts playing in your head.........)
So one Sunday morning I wanted to go to the Flea market, and no one else wanted to go with me (there is a point to that statement, you'll see later) so I ended up going alone, but I didn't go to wagon wheel (the regular flea market of choice) but ended up going to oldsmar.
While there I got a really lousy diet coke (the dispenser hadn't been brixed since it was put in I think) and an even worse sandwich. Both tasted like shit. Ever wonder about that saying, I mean really, who has ever tasted shit to know what it tastes like)?
Anyway, I tossed them in the bin and didn't think about it. Well about nine hours later I started puking, and boy did I puke, non stop until 7:00 am. I figured it was food poising, and juts had to deal with it. Been there done that.........
Nope. well maybe to start, but during all this my sugars went out of whack. Since I was sick I didn't see the signs, so I didn't feel that bad (remember I was puking every 20 minutes) By 7:00 am I called Mike to take me to the hospital, he came over and I remember trying to stand up and falling right back down. He was white, and next thing you know there were 5 firemen and emt's in my house. Now you KNOW I was sick when I didn't make a pass at any of them.
The next few hours , well days are a blurry. I ride to the hospital, the ER room (I do remember my mouth being so dry and they would NOT give me even ice chips) and this great nurse who worked the night shift (Jamie) who gave me morphine!!!!!!
Well after four days in ICU, I was finally aware enough to find out what happened to me. First off I may have had food poising from the bad food, I waited to long to know, by the time I got to the hospital I was just puking up bile (Oh what a tasty thing to puke too.......) and at arrival my sugars were over 700! Yes I did say 700! As in bend over kiss your ass goodbye you are about to die!
The started me on an insulin IV, and over the first three days got me down.
But that's not the best part. I developed blood clots in my leg. This is the same thing that happened to my Grandmother in 1977, which killed her as the asshole doctor (Dr. Irvin) didn't catch, one broke loose and she had a stroke and died.
Wanna talk about being scared shitless ........
Now I was moved to a regular room, told I could eat (yummy hospital food) and that I could get out of bed once a day to poop. Well let me tell you another week in a bed, with lousy TV, shifty food (oh yeah they had me on an 1800 calorie a day diet, That's one snack at home)! I was going stir crazy.
Every two hours there was the blood draws. Every two hours there we finger sticks for sugars, but do you thing there were at the same time???? Hell now, so basically every hour I was getting stuck in one form or another (shut up all you pervs out there, I hard that thought)
So sleep was a thing that happened in 50 minute increments if I was lucky. So the stay sucked, but heck I was alive. Now how about some side effects? You are really weak, getting up the first day for my one trip out of bed sucked. I almost wiped out on the way back from the bathroom!
I got home and for the first week basically slept. The kids followed me around if I went to the bathroom. Mike, Robb, and Cameron checked up on me, brought me food, and Cam cleaned the apt for me (the kids can mess it up after being alone you know.
If I get out of bed, I need to sit in my recliner with a pillow under my leg and keep it up. When I first got home my right leg was five time bigger than my left. Over the last 10 days it has slowly gone down, and today is just a bit swollowen.
I am on a number of new drugs for all this, along with everything else I am up to 15 pills each day, along with seven shots a day. (No not the kind in the shot glasses)!
So Today, the day before cinco de mayo I made my first big trip out of the house, went to Robb & Cam's for brunch. It's only 50 blocks away, not a long drive, had great food, and then came back here. I was pooped so I took a nap. After my nap I decided that I was ready to get on-line. I haven't been on line in a month. We won't talk about how many emails I had.
Prognosis? Well I can't work for a while, the doctors are saying six months, the old Bob would say I can knock that in half, but now I realize that I am getting older, and while I am feeling better I still get tired real fast. Simple things wear me out. So (sit down for this one gang) I am going to do as they say. Doing nothing is not all it's cracked up to be, but it beats being dead!
So feel free to zap me an e-mail (samanthakitty@gmail.com) will work if you don't have my private address, and then I'll send that to you after I get yours. Sorry spammers, like I would post my real address on the site.......
Okay I am now tired from posting this update, and there is a lot more that is going on with me but that will have to wait. Love to everyone!
Oh yeah, the point about the flea market here it is...... If my friends had gone with me, we would have gone to wagon wheel flea market, I wouldn't have gone to oldsmar, I wouldn't have gotten sick, I would have noticed that my sugars were rising, and I would have shot up and solved the problem before it started. The moral of the story.....You lazy bums when I want to go to the flea market, you need to get out of bed and go...... With that logic, this whole thing can be blamed on you! :)
(I am now ducking for cover)
BUT WAIT.... You know that I am a Match Game nut just like my ex-mother in-law) well click here to see the greatest thing ever done with legos!!! Chris White and I would have never thought of building this with legos!!! Click Here

What a week....
March 20, 2008
What the heck!!!! I am so fracken tired of this bullshit over the democratic primary here in Florida and Michigan. We voted, The results are in, end of discussion. No do overs, no revotes, just deal with the results.
The DNC is still saying that the votes don't count. SO I need a check reality here. This still is America right? I have a vote right? Now they are telling me that my vote, and every other person's vote here in Florida will not count. WHAT??? I need a good lawyer, or a schister lawyer to start a class action lawsuit. What do you think of that idea comrade???
March 18, 2008
Where to start? Well how about telling you about how all the cabbage I ate last night is affecting me..... ;)
Tonight we all went out for two-fer Tuesdays... I am back from Jamestown, Santiago is back from Columbia, but Mike is still in Costa Rica, so since Mike was away Santi got VERRRRRY drunk. Oh Rob, Cameron, and Jake were there too...
I will post the video of the adventure later. I am going to be reworking the entire website with a new program soon that will support that. The program I am using now, and have been using since 1997 is no longer supported, so I need to change. Well and since Santiago is a professor who teaches these things, and is married to Mike, I figure I could get a private lesson (along with a bootlegged, er, a I mean a fully licesened copy of the new program!!
More later I am heading to bed....
March 11, 2008
Hey Everyone.... Well I am heading home for a well deserved rest. Robbie will be watching the kids while I am gone as Mike will be in South America when I head home. Go figure we both have time off at the same time !!!! (There is more to that than meets the eye)!
